To insure propoer load distribution, DRP Rollers should be used with Load Pads.  Load Pads, shown here in tan, are located between the roller housing and the mounting structure.  These pads facilitate the rollers remaining in full contact with the rolling surface.
DRP can provide load pads for not only our rollers, but customer defined applications as well.
Email us at engr@dynamicrollers.com for information regarding load pad specifications.

Installation Notes Installation Notes are provided for guidance purposes only.
1 All applications of roller assemblies should always consider personnel safety.
2 Rollers are designed to stay in full contact with the rolling surface, edge loading of rollers will lead to a severe reduction in service life.
3 Rolling Surfaces / Tracks should be kept free of debris to avoid roller skidding and potential damage to the roller and rolling surface.
4 When mounting roller units to non-machined surfaces, load pads or the like should be employed to facilitate mounting tolerance and load distribution issues.
5 Roller units should be mounted such that housings are substantially parallel to rolling direction to avoid roller skidding.  If rolling is not unidirectional, rollers with crown radii and/or track lubrication should be considered.
